This rifle is great. I have replaced the stock. The one that comes on it is lightweight Tupperware type. That said it is great for hunting. I am shooting from a bench. usually shoot 100-150 rounds at a time. This rifle didn't come into its own until it had about 300 rounds through it. I am getting 1/2 -3/4 groups at 100 yards with handloads. At 1000 yards if I do my part, no problem to keep it on a 10" plate.

I can't say enough good things about buds gunshop, you just can't beat their service. As for the savage 6.5 creed I love the gun, shoots flawlessly straight out of box, the Nikon is the cherry on top of an already great deal, you can't get more for your buck anywhere else.

First impressions of this rifle are very good. I didn't come with scope cap covers which is a detraction albeit not a major one. Rifle has a nice balanced weight to it and seems to handle well. Looking forward to putting some lead down range with this rifle. All in all an excellent value at this price point. A lot of rifle for the money in my opinion.

Just picked this up last week and took this to the range yesterday to zero the rifle. Great shooter. Great trigger, low recoil, and very accurate.

I changed scopes immediately after receiving the rifle. Weight with 3-10 Weaver Grand Slam is 8lbs 13 oz. Barrel diameter at muzzle is .735. The accu-trigger bottomed out at 3#, I was hoping for a little lighter pull. The throat is short perhaps because of the predator theme, lighter bullets would be used. I am loading 123 Amax at COL 2.64. Accuracy has been good since I settled on a load. 3 shot groups are averaging around 1.5" at 200 yds. and less than 3" at 400 yds. With around a 100 shots fired total, it cleans up fairly fast with minimal copper fouling. The one possible downsiide is the magazine. It it the same as the Axis and is a little bit flaky all though I have not had any real problems with it yet. Overall I would give it 4 stars and consider it a very good buy.
