Great shotgun and great price. It shoots any 12 ga load...light or heavy it self adjusts, without feeding issues or failures to cycle, The action is very smooth and the gas system ensures very little recoil
even with heavier loads. It has two features I really love. First, if the bolt is locked back, when you load the first shell in the tube, it automatically cycles that shell into the chamber. I have seen competition shooters modify their high end Benelli's so they could save time when reloading. I love this feature when shooting single shot trap. No more loading into the open chamber and releasing the bolt. Since the bolt is already locked back, just slide the round into the tube and it loads it loads itself. Second, I like the mag tube block lever. When you flip the lever, it blocks the magazine tube from feeding the next shell, so you can empty the chamber or swap the type of shell in the chamber by pulling the bolt, without it feeding a shell from the mag tube.
This shotgun is also simple to breakdown, clean and reassemble. No unscrewing a cap like every other pump or semi auto. Just press a button and flip a lever and the foregrip slides right off. Then after cleaning and reasembling, you just slide the foregrip back into place until you hear it click, and it has locked itself together again.
I use it for pheasant and trap and intend to use it for duck as well. It is comfortable and light for a 12ga. I purchased the Hunter model, the laser engraving is very nice and the matte stainless finish is top notch. The wood is so pretty, I ordered a black synthetic stock and foregrip so I wont worry about scratching it. The synthetic stock and foregrip were also simple to swap out. I have hunted with a Citori for years, but always wished I had the extra round when needed, I am very happy with this purchase and I would highly recommend this shotgun to anyone. I would suggest you purchase the 3.5 inch chamber, just to have more options as well as resale value, not that I intend to ever sell this gun.
