Nice handy package in pistol grip configuration. Recoil is quite mild even with buckshot.

This is a very cool shotgun. The fit and finish are excellent. Took it out at the skeet range just to test fire it. Put about thirty birdshot shells through it and it performed flawlessly. Excellent break action, ergonomics and feel to it. It's a great personal defense/bedside weapon, and a must have for any shotgun collector/aficionado. I'm looking for a similar deal on the 12 gauge model now, and am even considering the Triple Crown for shooting clays. This was my latest of many purchases from Buds. The price was fantastic, communication was great, (as usual), and the weapon was delivered in perfect condition to my FFL within a week. Many thanks to all the folks at Buds. Excellent price, super fast shipping, and tracking info all the way. But then that's what I always get from the 20 purchases I've made with Buds. Never seen this firearm for less than $1,300 (usually $1,500 ) and I got it for _$1,100 including free shipping AND the FFL fee. As for the TT, with the 20 gauge and gel recoil pad (not included), very little recoil and muzzle movement -- VERY IMPORTANT for this firearm as it requires getting used to (and remembering) the barrel firing sequence. Sighting usually suckers the shooter into thinking that top barrel goes first -- it doesn't. As many online reviews have said, the break action is very stiff and I'm having an immediate problem with the break lever returning to dead center upon closure. At the beginning of Friday's session it wouldn't return much at all and at the end was slowly working its way back left across the tang. Wood and blueing finish are excellent. Comes with a good hardside case but no real padding and cannot lock the case say for airline transport. No experience yet with several chokes included. Took off one star for the break lever issue and case. A novelty firearm and pricey to be sure but I don't regret the purchase at all.
