  Max, the Sport II uses A-Grade Satin Walnut Stock with Silver Receiver, the Ethos uses AA-Grade Satin Walnut Stock and Silver Engraved Receiver. In short it has better wood and a fancier receiver. Cheers and stay safe!
• Q: This may seem like a foolish question, but is there an optional 26 " barrel length to be used along with the 28". I overlooked the overall length of 49.5 " on this shotgun.I already purchased the shotgun, waiting on delivery. Might be making to much out of this guys.

  Joe, the Sport II is listed with the 28 inch barrel only on Benelli's website. Since other similar models list a 26 inch barrel option, I would contact Benelli Customer Service to see if the 26 inch barrel (option exists) and will fit this model at (301) 283-6981 (option 2) or (800) 264-4962 (option 2), 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. EST, Monday through Friday.

• Q: On the above shotgun, being it's inertia, or recoil operated, will using 1oz high brass load cycle better than 7/8 oz.

  YES, 1oz will cycle better. However, after lubrication and run some heavier loads as suggested for break-in... Benelli sport II will run 7/8 oz or target load perfectly fine. I hope this helps!

• Q: Hey guys, is it best to use #8 0r #9 shot for shooting skeet. Being the Benelli is inertia operated, and not gas operated, is it best to use a higher load?

  #8 for no wind environment (or extremely light breeze). If there is moderate wind the use #9. Honestly, either work perfectly for me...even #7.5 works fine. #8 will cycle perfectly in this gun. But you might need to break in a bit. I hope this helps!

• Q: I just purchased the above shotgun. This will only be used on the trap and skeet fields. But, out of curiosity, Of the chokes that come with the shotgun, which one should be used when shooting slugs.

  Joe, the Cylinder Choke through Modified Chokes for slugs only. Just check to see which of these yield the most accurate results with your slugs of choice. I get best results with Cylinder/Improved cylinder using slugs. Cheers and stay safe!

• Q: Why do buyers of the above shotgun, of which I am one able to choose a serial number from a list upon checkout. Of all the Benelli Sport 11 20ga. 28 " shotguns sold through Bud's, how can a buyer be assured there are no other shotguns sold with the same serial #

  Joe, manufacturers keep detailed records of Serial Numbers and no two firearms of the same make will have the same Serial Number. Many buyers buy multiple firearms and want sequential Serial Numbers and this service gives them a chance to select such. Cheers and stay safe!
• Q: Being this shotgun is not gas operated, but recoil, or inertia operated, for skeet or bird hunting, is there a minimum dram powder charge to use so the shotgun will cycle properly ?

  Joe, according to Benelli, minimum load is 2-1/2-dram, 7/8-oz. loads
