Troy 30 round AR15 mags are the mags I use on a regular basis. The Troy mags are are light weight and just a hair slimmer than some other mags and this adds to their ability to fit almost ALL Mag Wells and aids in dropping free when the mag release button is hit. I also really like the texture and feel of the Troy mags, they are smoother toward the middle which eliminates hanging up on mag carriers and clothing. The stippling is heavier on the forward and aft edges for good griping when grabing and loading a mag in a dry or wet environment. I have also left my Troy mags fully loaded and stored for months at a time and I have not noticed any bulging or distorting of mag sides or feed lips. Most Troy mags come with an extra floor plate that includes a protective bumper rail to protect the mags when they drop free over a hard surface. These can be a little awkward to change out, but they perform the job they were intended for plus aid in stripping a mag from the mag well. I can usually find a sale on the Troy mags, making them one of the best dollar per mag values on the internet. Troy industries has seen fit to build these mags in a large variety of colors to match just about any custom build you are involved with. If you just have to have an odd color, I have found that the Sand color Troy mags can be died with Ritz die packets. You can find this process on the internet and it does work. RH
