Long story short, I’m just about to order my third one for ABRA competition The barrel is the big difference. They blow away everything else that’s legal in the division, making the gun a steal at the price. In some matches, my scores in the factory division have been right up there with the unlimited guns. Even if you aren’t shooting it in competition, it’s always great to own a gun this accurate and consistent.

First off its a Ruger 10/22 if you don't own one just buy one. This is one pretty girl and she made me smile all day. I got her here on Buds but ended up getting sick and had a long delay before I could get it to the range. One negative right off the bat. The muzzle threads are not right. I tried both my Q El Camino and a Fake can and both would only thread on about a 1/4" so I only fired a couple rounds thru the suppressor and removed it out of fear of damaging the can. As for the fit and finish the overall fit is great and finish is beautiful. It's light Varmint barrel was not super heavy but performed well. I will be putting more rounds thru it then testing it with some higher grade stuff. Cheap ammo like the Federal did very well and had flyers but still under 1/2" at 25 yards. This is a pretty girl and worth owning. If it runs out of stock, then you snooze you lose since these were a limited run and I got mine.

Ruger 10/22 is the best starter gun for my Grand Son that I think I could get .I think with all the after market things he can get it will grow with him....HE WILL GET LOTS OF YEARS OF SMALL GAME HUNTING ...

Can’t go wrong with the 10/22. The stock received some dremel work to remove wood/stock from touching barrel. 4x16x50…..hanging golf ball at 100yds, all day long!

I ordered the rifle on a Sunday afternoon and then picked it up from the local gun store the following Friday. Awesome service and fast shipping, thanks Buds! I added a Vortex 4-12x40 scope, Ruger BX trigger, a couple Ruger BX-25 magazines, Magul MOE bipod, as well as a variety of KIDD parts/upgrades. The rifle shoots amazing. Unbelievable accuracy after sighting in the scope. With the bipod, I was easily shooting 2" groups at 100 yards, but my friend was hitting sub 1" groups at the same distance. I need to work on my marksmanship! It's a very fun gun to shoot. I look forward to improving my skills at the range with it. Get this TALO LVT version while you still can!

Good quality gun for the price. A bit on the heavy side for a 22 rifle. The best thing is that a suppressor can be put on.

    Hi Eric, yes, the Light Varmint barrel is 20" long. It is chambered in 22LR with a 1:16" RH twist. Barrel has the LVT contour with a .920" tapered to .705" barrel diameter. Precision-rifled, cold hammer-forged stainless-steel barrel features a 1/2"-28 threaded muzzle. Barrel is fitted with a thread protector. Satin stainless finish.
