This thing was perfect for long range and not burning through price of ammo comparing to 308

Amazingly accurate rifle! With good optics and ammo .25moa groupings are pretty much the norm! Love it!

Rifle consistently groups sub MOA with 77gr TMK Creedmoor ammo through its first 250 rounds. I haven't had any issues to report with this rifle and due to its weight and caliber, recoil is non existent. The trigger is very crisp and light. I was hesitant to pay this amount of money for a rifle coming from the Freedom group due to their sometimes spotty QC but this rifle seems solid all the way around.

Rifle could not fire more than one magazine without slamming a round into the feed ramps so much that it pushed the bullet all the way back into the case. Had to pay to send it to the factory under warranty. Sent them a rifle so clean I would have eaten off of it. Came back dirty as a porta potty and still exhibiting the problem. Sent the rifle back again paying for shipping still and then they polished the feed ramps. Rifle was now marginally reliable. It would still hang up but not to the point of fully pushing the bullet back in the case. Multiple manufacturers of ammo were always used to try to isolate the problem being with ammo. Tried to do a class with the rifle. Found out the magwell was poorly shaped and only one out of 50 magazines would actually drop free without being manually extracted. Payed to send the rifle back two more times and eventually got a new lower receiver with the correct shape. Triggers in both were garbage despite being factory-installed high-end units. Wanted to do a long-range class. Went to remove the handrail covers to install the bipod and found there was a huge chip out of the rail. Payed to send it back and get the rail replaced. Came back with a 5 inch long gouge in the barrel and the sights looked like they had been removed with pliers rather than wrench. They were extremely scraped up. Payed to send the rifle back again and got new sights but they just painted over the scratch. They failed to replace the barrel. Ended up giving the rifle away with full disclosure after having spent so much time and money with an incompetent manufacturer. Do not buy.

Great experience buying from buds. Took rifle to the range shoots great! Accurate. Lower and stock a little loose has some movement. (Did not expect that) Bottom of the trigger guard where it meets the grip has some sharp edges that gets my middle finger right before the knuckle. That needs some attention. Other than that great quality and function.

My second purchase from Bud's and all I can say is,that this is a well built rifle.Only thing that it needed was a scope.Couldn't find one flaw with it.Glad i sold my stag 3 to put towards the purchase of this.The transaction with buds was awesome as always.Currently have a savage fcp-k in 308 and a daniel defense mv4 ar on layaway with them.Thanks Buds for an awesome rifle and a topnotch transaction.
