The DPMS Lo Pro Classic is a great choice for a cost effective entry level AR-15. The rifle has incorporated a slick sided upper which removes the forward assist and dust cover. Additionally DPMS has added a optics ready flat top upper, fixed A2 style stock, and 16" bull barrel.

An extremely nice weapon to fire. With the heavy barrel there is almost no recoil and you can stay on target very easy for multiple shots. Stock and receiver matched very nicely. The two 30 round magazines were a nice touch as well. You will enjoy shooting it once you own it. Used 210 rounds of M193 on the first use, no misfires, no hang ups, smooth as silk.

Like another reviewer, the stock does not match the rifle. The color is more of an ED green than black. Striped the gun down and cleaned/oiled it up per instructions. Purchased some flip up fixed sights from a local vendor. Gun is pretty accurate for a 16" barrel. With the bull barrel, weapon is front heavy. Came with a Glacier Guard handrail, this is a polycarbonate piece, not aluminum and there are no additional rails to mount accessories on. I knew this going in but was surprised at the material given the quality of DPMS products. Replaced the rail with a quad-rail so I can ad a foregrip with a bipod. Overall 4 stars for the mis matched buttstock, no sights and glacier guard. DPMS could improve this rifle for the average consumer with a few upgrades because I will spend another $150 for sights, foregrip and new guard.

As i own several DPMS products i expected a good quality weapon for a good price, and this one did not disappoint! This gun is very accurate as other reviews have said. DPMS has great products and for this price you really cant go wrong comparing to other brands. One draw back to this one is the bull barrel is pretty darn heavy (which is to be expected when ordering a bull barrel) it will give your off arm a workout, you just might not want to get this rifle as your carry around in the woods weapon. Also the stock material does not completely match the color black on the receiver/barrel etc. it is a few shades lighter but is made out of durable materials. But as far as functionality,reliability, accuracy, and economics goes this is one heck of a gun for the money! Highly recommended

Got it, shipped within 6 days after proccesing, the best price and no one else had one. They should rename this AR to: DPMS SUB MOA. very well built and soild and a tack driver to boot and runs like a champ, can't ask for much more. I'm very happy with Bud's service and this rifle.

Bud's staff was friendly and helpful during this transaction. The rifle is a great value shooting sub MOA at 100yd with M193 ammo. Very pleased and will bust many coyotes with this.
