This shorter, Commander-length version of the Discretion might actually
be a better suppressor host than its 5” big brother. By reducing slide
and barrel length, weight is removed from the muzzle end, meaning once
your suppressor of choice is attached, it’s much less muzzle-heavy than
its Government-sized counterpart.

Great gun , I own many 1911's . Among them are Wilson Combat and the like. I will say that my new Dan Wesson Discretion 9mm. is my new favorite.
The gun just shoots much smoother and recoil is next to nothing. Read a lot of reviews before purchasing the weapon . Also spoke with a few pistol smiths
most of which said that this is the best 1911 out of the box. Note: and as a reminder it is less than half of the price of my Wilson Combat. Thanks Buds for the
great pricing on all your guns and accessories .
