2 words Dan Wesson. Never fails this weapon by far one of the best shooters I have ever owned. The 38 super feels like a 9mm but with some power. Not one hiccup this pistol and round is my new cc weapon. You will not be disappointed at all. Thank you buds for the fast delivery and best pricing.

I am a fan of 38 super and a big Dan Wesson fan. This is my 13th D.W. and I have this pistol in 9mm now for almost 2 years and have loved it. I couldn't wait until I found one on Bud's in 38 super. It is as beautiful as my 9mm and shoots just as well. I'm not sure what the other reviewer meant about the safety but my example is perfect in every way. Same D.W. trigger that I am used to, light, crisp and no creep. I like the sights fine they are easy to aquire but I may change them to three dot white dots which I happen to like a lot on a carry pistol and to make it a little different than the 9mm. Any way the quality and fit are as good as can be, the materials and components are high quality and best she shoots straight and true. In my opinion you can't go wrong with this pistol or most any Dan Wesson.

I have had a few, several, Dan Wesson 1911s. I love the super 38. prefer all steel 1911s and like the CCO for EDC. This pistol has a great carry type grip safety. Also the thumb safety is fit nicely - positive but not a struggle to operate. The only point is , and I can't understand why, but all the DW 1911s I've owned and handled have a terribly blended to the frame thumb safety. It seems as tho the axle hole is too near the frame radius? I've substituted a couple thumb safties that are blended on other pistols I own and the fit to DW is not smooth at all. Nor does it seem there is enough material to blend TS to frame. Its a small thing, but it is there. Love the pistol, the size, steel frame and checkering, trigger is outstanding, I will change out the fiber optic front sight, not my favorite for a carry gun. Its a great CCO for the price - and in my favorite caliber. I had to pick one up
