  Kendall, this rifle looks to have the same size Bolt Handle as the "Tactical" Models. I would still confirm this before purchase with Remington Arms at TEL: 1-800-243-9700.

• Q: Does the HS stock have an aluminum bedding block, and is there a model number for the stock or this specially made for Remington as a pkg deal.

  Hi Steve, Yes, This rifle has an H-S Precision synthetic stock with full length aluminum bedding and is a package deal. I would contact Remington for a possible stock only number at TEL: 1-800-243-9700.

  some people have said that Remington quality has declined I don't find that and I have been buying Remington long guns since the early 1970s and have bought 2 in the last year I think some of the problem is that people want to compare the budget models with the older models like the wingmaster a lot of new model have hi teck finishes which just does not look as good as a nice blued firearm. Rant over this gun is a very good quality firearm it is a shooter not a wall hanger fit and finish is good to execellent I would have no qualms about the quality if I bought one
