Glock Slim Frame 10 + 1 Round 45 ACP w/Glock Night Sights/Pi - Blue/Black, 4.60" Barrel, 10+1 Rounds, Polymer Grips, Night Sights

I have not purchased any Glock 45, but am looking and reading the reviews and thought it may be helpful to comment on the above experience. While I too have bad experience(s) with online vendors from time to time, I would like to offer my recent experience w/ Bud's service on approximately 10 purchases since the Nov'08 election. Derek has been wonderful with my follow-ups (a backordered item, changing an order, and a purchase of a dangerous game rifle). Bud's online business model is clearly one with razor thin margins in order to enable competitive pricing. I too have experience reply problems with general inquiries - but I respect the customer service model of this low gross margin type of business - I'd rather have low{er} prices than a verbose, on-line chat channel. I have found that once you have committed to the purchase and need assistance of some sort- Bud's service is best-in-class. I've learned to call the manufacturer with my application, technical, option questions - and then find what I need from Bud's or one of the other three on-line retailers that have low cost structures. I always check Bud's on my planned purchases and if/when they have the low all-in price (i.e., delivered) I do not hesitate to do business with Bud's.

The Glock 21sf gets five of five stars. The weapon is typical Glock, that is to say, there is nothing to radically new with the SF designation. It is slightly easier to hold if you have medium hands. If you have small hands, I would look elsewhere, large hands, as I have, it is very comfortable to grip. I could go either way on the rail, its not a selling point to me, as I don't hang much garbage off my pistols. I like the Glock night sights, better than the standard, cheap plastic ones that are standard with Glock. Its every bit as accurate as you need it to be, and stone cold reliable. Its ugly as sin, though there is a beauty in its no nosense purpose, and you tend to grow to like it more and more. I am satisfied with the gun. Another bonus with the Glock family, easy to find mags and parts.
