Purchased the Mako and happy with it.That sucked. But it was a good price regardless and I will buy again from Buds if the price is right.

The pistol is well balanced great sights and trigger. With the 15 rd mag in it completely fills your hand. The grip texture isn’t too aggressive, so you can wear it with the IWB holster without scratching your side. Shoots well for a small pistol the weight helps keep the muscle flip down. I liked the pistol so much that I also bought the threaded barrel version.

I purchased the Kimber R7 Mako and was immediately impressed by how comfortably it fit in my hand, not being a true double stack or single stack I was worried they would mess it up. They didn't. Using Range Ammo I immediately show a 2.5" group at 15 yards which was very nice given the barrel length and overall size of the pistol. Easily concealable with an outstanding raised grip I would rate this a 4.8/5.

Greta little gun with the best trigger on a subcompact or even a full size striker fire. It shoots better than my Glock 43x and better than my shield plus. This people at Kimber knocked out of the ball park!

The Kimber Mako is a nice pistol and yes a bit snappy as any 3" inch barrel in 9mm or higher but its controllable for me so its outstanding. Hits the target where it should and that's all I ask of my pistols its great. Fit and finish are Kimber very nice.
I would say its a great buy for anyone.

The R7 Mako in my opinion is the best micro 9mm on the market today. The trigger is absolutely phenomenal. Being as small as it is you must use the 13 round extended mag to get a full grip. Out of all of the micro 9's that I have shot, (which is a lot) I have definitely shot the best with this one. I am new to guns and have only been shooting for only a year now but the first time shooting this gun out of the box I was leaving nothing but 3 inch holes in paper targets. I can't wait to see what I can do with it when I attach my Holosun 507k. If you are looking for a great shooting, easy concealable micro 9 look no further than the Kimber R7 Mako.

The online reviews of this new micro 9mm got me interested ... I already have a few ... A G43, a P365, a P239 as far as micros go. I must say I am impressed. The P365 started a wave of high capacities micros to come to the market, but honestly there is still nothing that can touch the P365 in terms of small size and carry-ability. The R7 is more in the class of the Hellcat, which I never liked. What is absolutely great about this R7 are two things: The trigger is one of the best if not the best out-of-the-box striker trigger and the slide hood is great for ejection control of the spent case. I bought mine as an OR (Optics ready) and put a CT-1550 from amazon for $89 on it. You can't buy the OI (Optics equipped) anywhere close to that today. So I built my OI. If small size is you prime objective got for the P365, if it is an all-around micro that is not much larger and the size doesn't mind you then go for this little gem!
