Remington Firearms RP45 Single .45 ACP 4.5 15+1 Black Polymer Grip Black - Blue/Black, 4.5" Barrel, 15+1 Rounds, Polymer Grips, Night Sights

First time gun buyer, but I have experience with firearms. Originally I was going to go with a Hi-Point in 45 ACP because we're on a budget, but the difficulty in disassembly and maintenance put me off. Then I saw the Remington RP45.
Plentiful capacity, solid night sights, comfortable ergonomics that feel great for me and my wife whose hands are smaller than mine, nice trigger with no takeup or Glock-like sponginess, simple to take apart and clean, and the price is awesome.
Took it to the range and fed it Legend Pro 230 grain JHP (flawless) and American Eagle Syntech 230 grain (a few FTF but not many, I place blame on this ammo not the pistol). The recoil on the RP45 is incredibly soft and controllable, and I was getting great groups at 5, 7, even 10 yards. My military friend, whose primary carry is a Sig P320 in 45 ACP, really enjoyed shooting this and said I made a great purchase.
I cannot wait to buy another one for CCW (it can happen!). I'm willing to forgive Remington if they churn out more 45 ACPs like this. A very underrated and great buy :)

I got this pistol remington rp45 around January 2019 I wanted to put it through a hard test before I said anything this is what my pistol did I am very hard on a pistol putting it in close quarters combat training firing a lot rounds between cleaning no mud no sand no water just lots of rounds IT has failure to feed on some hollow points clean it every time never happen again after 6 rounds have over 500 rounds works great let me say when in close combat they are all in a bowl all brands and some blanks it loads easy with positive click release easily all I am waiting for is a compact one

I love this brute. A high capacity, reliable, accurate truck gun. It is definitely worth the money especially the version with night sights. They come in really nice boxes too. I have a couple of these now and have enjoyed shooting all of them. Highly recommend.

Had a few fail-to-feeds within the first 200 rounds using el cheapo Tulammo but have had zero the next 200 using American Eagle ammo. The specs say 15 rd capacity magazines but so far I've only been able to fit 14 in each mag, still that's pretty impressive for a 45. Overall it seems to shoot good, not too much kick, should make a good bed stand hand cannon.

Love this gun! This is my second RP. I have the RP9 and liked so much, I purchased it's big brother. Extremely easy to disassemble for cleaning.I have had no issues with either, but I never max out the magazine capacity until I am familiar with the platform. I also make sure the cartridge is seated to the rear of the mag. Also is accurate out of the box, no need to dink around with sights. This is a keeper!

Don't believe all of the Tactical idiots on You Tube that are bashing Remington! This gun comes very heavily oiled, and to try and shoot it right out of the box without cleaning it is setting the gun up for malfunctioning. I broke the gun down when I got it, and wiped it down with Hoppe's solvent. I made sure I cleaned the firing pin channel really well, and used an air gun to dry everything off. Loaded up two 15 round magazines, and fired both rapid fire and kept all my rounds right in the bullseye with No FTF or FTE!!! Fired another magazine slow fire, and shot a super accurate group! This Remington is very soft shooting with little recoil. Its easy to keep on target, due to a very light trigger. I will put my Remington up against guns costing twice as much! The only draw back is I don't think the safety is as good as a Glock, I wouldn't drop it from a two story building, but it doesn't cost as much either. Make sure you use an IWB holster that covers the trigger guard. That is my only reason for giving it 4 stars. But for $370.00 with night sights, its a shooting machine.

Flawless function outstanding accuracy a stout pistol and a bargain price with night sights it does have minor concerns magazine cap 15rds tightly only one of the magazines will lock in on a chambered round 15+1 ? Safety on trigger edges a little sharp not a light weight concealed carry pistol a full sized pistol with a lot of fire power the RP45 and RP9 a bargain if you do not care about the weight.

the rp45 is a great budget 45. The grip, trigger, weight and shoot ability are all very nice. I also appreciate the very easy takedown steps. So far I’ve put about 150 rounds throw it of 230 grain target ammo with not a single malfunction.

Great suprise I picked this up because of 100 rebate Paid 363 before rebate 15 rd 45acp with trijicn night sights 250 rds later I love it Hope it holds up definitely not a refined gun Seems a little cheap No problems good trigger soft shooter 15 rds is nice very nice
