I am confused. It is not showing as "out of stock" or "back-ordered". I ordered one about 4 weeks ago on "Layaway" and at that time it was in stock.

Jeffrey, you should keep it "Wish Listed" for notification but this particular rifle is out of stock and back ordered to death so it may be quite a while as it is almost impossible to say when.

Jeffrey, those of us answering these questions don't actually work for Buds' and even actual Buds' employees themselves have no way of forecasting when new stock of particular guns will arrive. My best recommendation would be to add this gun to your wish list (right side of the page below where the "Add to cart" option usually is) so that you will receive a notification when/if that gun happens to be in stock again.

Yes it is Michael. 452 Barrel in 22lr is threaded into the action and all 455's are slip fitted with grub screws to be able to change out barrels to different calibers.

How does the CZ 452 American compare to the 455 Varmint as far as accuracy?

Hi Wayne, the 455 Varmint will have better accuracy all day long. Expect about a quarter inch better accuracy if the shooter is up to the task.

I have both the American and a Varmint while the Accuracy (in theory) may be slightly better with the Varmint in the real world you could get a American that is more accurate due to good luck (just a tight gun) . in real world accuracy for me the guns are even

My first CZ, surely wasn't my last. As far as I'm concerned, the 452 American 22lr is the best rimfire rifle you can by for the money. The rifle wouldn't shoot at first(frf), but I sent it off to my Smith to add pillars, bed the action. I've taken countless amount of squirrels in the woods with this rifle. With a Weaver V16 mounted on this thing, modified trigger its one of the best setups out here.....even after 12 years of use. If you were fortunate enough to get one, hang on to it👍

I use to shoot at targets. With this gun I now shoot the strings that hold the target. With the right ammo it's one ragged hole at 50 yards. The fit and finish on this gun is excellent. No complaints.

This is a great rifle. It was just what I was looking for. It is a lot more accurate than my other 22's. It makes the difference in a dead squirrel and a wounded one. I would definitely recommend this rifle if you are looking for an accurate one.

You will NEVER find a better bolt action 22 in this price range. Beautiful, well made, great shooting gun, that IMO, ranks right with any high end rimfire. I now have the 452, 455, and 457 models, all with Burris optics, and all tack drivers. Only issue that I have with any of them is the trigger on the 452. It is just a bit stiff.
