Surprisingly high quality Target pistol. Functions well with all ammo even the cheaper stuff. Perfect "fun gun" for taking down some tree rats. Ended up buying two more for my son's. Love it.

Nice finish and looks. Easy to rack and cleaning is very simplistic. The only two negatives are: (1) The grips feel ultra wide and it’s difficult to hold particularly with small to medium sized hands.; (2) the balance of the gun is a little off. I don’t know if it feels top heavy or if the weight is too far forward, but it throws off my aim. It is almost to the point of being uncomfortable.

Beautiful bluing and machining. Function is flawless. Takedown is simple. Only complaint is that the trigger
could be lighter, as is it is not bad but for a target pistol it could be lighter. I would definitely recommend this pistol
even with the okay trigger. Very very nice.

i have heard this a great and accurate pistol. I bought it from Buns guns and had no probs with delivery, etc. price was reasonable. but the gun itself was not all that accurate.

It's a Ruger, the quality is as expected. Well finished, easy to load, shoots to point of aim and CLEAN UP is a breeze. This makes gun number 21 bought through Bud's over the last five years. A good experience with every purchase.

Everything the Marks I-III are and then more. The reassembly process is fixed and among the simplest I've seen. The wood grips are very nice and among the nicest I've seen on a gun in this general category. I do have 2 things that I wish were different though. This gun should come in a case even if its a plain, plastic case. The grips are just little too wide for my hands. I feel that I have to use thinner grip panels to keep this gun steady. I hate to do that though cause the originals are so well done. Anyway, I would own this gun regardless. A must have the rim fire fan.

Nice looking and feeling Pistol, I just had 1 issue with it. When I went out to sight it in the rear sight screw would move left but would not come back right. I called Ruger and they said the spring in the sight was getting bound up on the screw on lot's of these pistols, they didn't offer to replace the sight but told me to take it to a gunsmith. I feel it is pretty cheap on Rugers part to make these pistols and know they have a defective sight and expect the buyer to foot the bill to get them repaired. I opted to order a set of Williams fire sights for the pistol instead, $72.00 with shipping.

This pistol was awesome. It has only one tiny flaw, in my opinion and that is the thickness of the grips. I would have preferred the grips to be just a little more ergonomic, but they look fantastic and feel ok, even as thick as they are. I ran 98 rounds through the gun and had three misfires, all with Stinger ammo. The standard CCI Mini Mags and the Federal target grade rounds ran through well, no jams or other issues. I sadly had to sell this gun to get money for a trip to see my Dad, but it was super accurate, easy to clean, fun to shoot and felt really good as far as the weight. As soon as my finances are in order, I am going to get another one!
