Yes, this has a reversable magazine release. So you can put it on either side. Hope this helps.

Rick, The magazine release of the Baby Eagle is ambidextrous, Changing sides can be done in less than five minutes. Instructions for switching mag release sides are : Here's how you do it: - depress plunger under trigger bar and rotate 90 degrees - cover opposite side of mag release - pull out plunger, freeing mag release - reverse mag release - drop plunger back into hole - press hole in back of mag release with punch - push down on plunger - withdraw punch - rotate plunger back under trigger bar

What is the weight of this weapon?

34 oz .. just over 2 pounds. Desert Eagles tend to run just a bit heavier than many of the competition, due to the steel frames. A typical commander size (4" barrel) 1911 with allow frame might be 29 oz, but would have a 7 or 8 round mag. 34 oz is very "carryable", depending on your size, and personal preferences. You will know it is there, though.

According to specs, it is about 34 ounces. Other weight will depend on the weight of the bullets you use. The heavier the bullet the more weight, so you do the math.

The baby Eagle 3, there is no baby in this gun. Like the other reviews say, it is a HEAVY duty gun. Target acquisition and shot placement will instantly make even the novice shooter look like a sharp-shooter. I Have put over 800 rounds through this gun without failures of any kind. Because of the weight and having a low bore axis, with the metal frame, the recoil is not much more than that of a .380 cal. The functioning of the baby eagle is solid and smooth. DA trigger is about 12 lbs; SA trigger is about 3-4lbs. Very solid, reliable, easy pistol. You will not be disappointed.

This is one heavy duty firearm. It is not a conceal carry gun. When I first received the firearm and started to shoot it I had second thoughts. For some reason it just did not seem to fit my normal grip. But I have learned to adjust my grip slightly and now love this gun. It is a tack driver. I am not an expert shot, but this gun makes me think I am. If you are looking for an extraordinarily well made and accurate firearm for home defense, duty work, or target shooting you cannot go wrong with this baby.
