- depress plunger under trigger bar and rotate 90 degrees
- cover opposite side of mag release
- pull out plunger, freeing mag release
- reverse mag release
- drop plunger back into hole
- press hole in back of mag release with punch
- push down on plunger
- withdraw punch
- rotate plunger back under trigger bar
