LWRC IC-SPR 16.1" Patriot Brown 223 Remington/5.56 NATO AR15 Semi Auto Rifle - 16.1" Barrel, 30+1 Rounds

I have had this rifle for a couple of years now and have put roughly 1,000 rounds through it. The fit and finish of this rifle is like none other. The Cerakote finish gives it a silky smooth feel in the hand, unlike the finish on a standard rifle which can feel a little gritty. The stock trigger is very good and has a nice, crisp break and reset. The LWRC skirmish sights are excellent as well and I will be looking to purchase a set for an upcoming rifle build. I put and EOTech EXPS2 holographic sight on this gun. The sight itself weighs about 1 lb., which makes this heavy rifle even heavier. About the only downside I can see with the rifle is the weight, which is mostly forward of the receiver. I'm not a professional soldier who will be lunking this thing around everywhere so it isn't too much of a concern for me. What I LOVE about this rifle: The Cerakote finish, the ambi controls, the spiral fluted barrel, the iron sights, the clean receiver you get after dumping 300 rounds through it (nod to the piston system here). I would not hesitate to buy this gun again. I am already looking at the DI version in 300 Blackout for hog hunting.
