Is it cool? Yes. Is it high quality? Yes. Is it worth two CZ P-07s? No. I sold mine and wouldn't buy another at these prices. For the money, buy a Sig P229 Legion. X-ray3 night sights, better trigger, better shooter for your dollars.

The Best Most Accurate hand gun I have ever owned. I have over 30 handguns and this one sets the standard. Fit and finish are second to none. And in my hands at least, its the most accurate thing I have ever put into my hands. The guns fits like a glove, and feels natural in the hand. Would not only buy again, I bought another one a few weeks later.

I was a bit scared to order the Sphinx over the Sig models I was looking at. That said, I received my compact alpha at my FFL and at first glance was amazed at the quality look and feel. So I took it to the range and was blown away by the 2inch hole blown through the center of the target at 10 yards. The most amazing thing, other than the best trigger I have ever felt, was the incredibly low recoil with 9mm. This gun feels amazing in your hands and just shots like it is part of you. Don't hesitate to buy it. It is an incredibly built quality firearm for winter carry or dressing around it, and doubles as a competition grade range gun. Not easy to find a CCW gun that you can really enjoy and look forward to shooting. Buds was also great and will buy again from them.

I have a lot of pistols, and this one ranks with the best. Very easy to shoot, very accurate, very reliable. I'm sorry one reviewer had problems with his, but that's what a warranty is for. I did not need this pistol, but I'm glad I got it. The shear precision of this gun is amazing. If I only had one pistol, this would be it.

I'm been shooting this gun a lot , I got probably over 1000 round of different type of ammo , hollow point , cheap Russian ammo, throughout this little pistol , and is outstanding , my Sig 226 is been in my safe since I got my Sphynx , this pistol was a pleasant surprise for me , very happy with my purchase and with Buds service .

FTE, FTF, FTE ,FTF, SHORT CYCLE, SHORT CYCLE, SHORT CYCLE. Not what I expected from a $900 gun! I've gotta call Bud"s,or Kriss, or Sphinx? I'm not sure....Very disappointed!

Behold...the majestic Sphinx. It is in every way precision and quality at it's absolute finest. The level of detail and engineering put into the design of this firearm is of a magnitude I had never anticipated ever seeing in a handgun. Eye appeal is beyond sexy. The grip for the first time was unlike anything I've ever felt. Even just sitting at my desk I can't refrain from stopping what I'm doing every 5 minutes to pick it up and just look at it and fondle this thing. The hand-fitting of the grip is phenomenal and it thoroughly molds right into your hand. Very, very comfortable, yet durable grip design. The rubberized polymer feels so good in the hand. Yes, it may have a 10 lb double-action pull, but its a quite smooth pull I have to say. The single action is smooth as butter and very crisp, with a super short reset. Sphinx exceeded by leaps and bounds at providing the SDP pistol with a competition-grade trigger. Taking it apart and running the slide up and down the full length guide rail, you can just feel the quality and precision extremely well. One thing that stood out to me while inspecting it, and it's not something I've ever read in any of the reviews online, but it has a really, really smooth and polished feed ramp. I was like wow! The accuracy I might add, is pretty damn good. The first time ever shooting it, which of course took place the day I got it, I was already shooting groups inside the first circle of the target. Overall, I am well beyond impressed. This is indeed a rare Swiss gem. The Sphinx SDP is now the centerpiece of my entire collection, and I will never EVER doubt my decision in buying it. If your wanting this gun, or just thinking about getting this gun, BUY IT ALREADY!!! Even if you don't want it....JUST BUY IT!!!
