This was a rifle I fell in love with as a kid watching old war movies. There just something about the looks that had an appeal. I have this rifle a lot with factory ammo & my reloads. It’s been a blast plinking with this. Some of my grandsons & a few friends have also enjoyed shooting this iconic rifle. I can recommend & Buds service never disappoints!

Nice replica. For the price though you can still find used originals. The receiver is investment cast and for the price I would prefer a forged receiver. This is definitely a shooter once you get it broken in and past the frequent jams.

I have not had the opportunity to shoot this rifle yet because of hurricane Florence but I will say the fit and finish seem excellent. Can't wait to shoot it!! Bud's was great as always, fast shipping and easy to deal with! All around a good experience! Will post another review after a trip to the range!!

I was a little tentative before buying this remake of the M1 Carbine from Inland. I read some so-so reviews on it, mostly complaining about jams and the feed ramps being too sharp (I.E. leading to misfeeds). Even with these reviews, I still really wanted a M1 .30cal and all its American history, and I decided to go for it. First things first, this was my first purchase from BUDS and it was a perfect experience in terms of shipping/price/customer service. Thanks BUDS. The rifle itself is of good quality, not the highest quality but good enough. The walnut stock is not as dark as the stock picture shows (at least mine wasn't), but it was still a nice piece of walnut. The stock assembly (lower stock) and wood hand guard assembly (smaller wood park on top of barrel) did not have as tight a fit as I would have liked it to. I tried tightening the screw to make the pieces fit better, but it did not work. My buddy's true M1 .30cal from his grandfather had a perfect fit with the two stocks, so I thought that could have been better. Everything else on the rifle was spot on. At the range it was time to test out the rifle for reliability. I brought 3 50 round boxes of TULA, 1 50 round box of ARMSCOR, and 1 25 round box of Hornady Critical Defense Hollow Point rounds. My new M1 .30cal ate all 225 rounds with no misfeeds or jams. I was happy and relieved these concerns from other reviewers were not a problem for me. Bottom line: I would recommend this model and rifle from Inland. Thanks.

Out of the box, very pleased. Fit, finish, overall appearance are excellent. At the range, different story. Rifle is basically unusable. Out of 50 rounds ( it was too frustrating to try more), I must have had a dozen where the bolt failed to rotate and lock resulting in failure to fire. Several failure to extract. In the process of a return, so will update review with my experience. Can't recommend at this point though.
