Overall a decent rifle, the scope mount is garbage though, it came loose even with loctite on it.

Very light and does not absorb the recoil at all. Be prepared to take all the recoil onto your shoulder. If you can deal with the recoil; it functions just fine.

Very nice 308 rifle. Came with a dead ringer scope but the rifle itself is worth it.

Finally got the opportunity to take this out today. Bud's shipping was relatively quick - ordered it on Wednesday and it arrived the following Tuesday. For a rifle this cheap, it is definitely well made and handles different types of ammo well, even super cheap steel cased rounds. A LOT of fun to shoot, accurate, and it looks incredibly good with the fluted bolt. Would definitely recommend this to anyone, for the price you will not find much better.

I have shot all brands of rifles over my 30+ years hunting from Remington, Ruger, Savage to Weatherby and this Mossberg out performs them all! Sighted the rifle in with Winchester deer season xp 150 grain bullets and I have this rifle shooting a .75 group at 100 yds! The quality and features this rifle has is second to none. If it had one of the so called big names in bolt action rifles on it you would be paying much more for it. This combo is a steal at this price! Thanks Buds for great service and pricing!
