Excellent transaction as always through Buds, the Mossberg Patriot rifle is an excellent rifle no issues of any kind. Bought this for my son to teach him longer range shooting. After getting sighted in, I was hitting MOA at 100 yrds no problem. After going through 20 rds at 100yrds we tried a 8" steel target at 300yrds 20 rds fired all hits. Lite weight and compact rifle, and at $300 you cannot beat the deal.

This was an excellent purchase.....I now have a light/short accurate hunting/climbing rifle. Groups are MOA with Hornady SP. I have had not a single problem. Bolt is a tiny bit sloppy by design, trigger is fantastic....matched it with a Vortex 4-12 AO. I'm good to 300 yds. If you're looking for a well built, very light/accurate hunting carry gun for the long hikes into the wilderness....you won't find one better built and less expensive. Thank you Mossberg and Buds.
