Great .22 rifle! This checked all the boxes being suppressor ready and having a rail on top for a scope. Bolt is a bit stiff but will loosen with use, I'm sure! Very accurate up to the 80 yards where my steel target was located. I tried two different brands of ammo and it didn't care which was used. Would definitely recommend.

Very happy with gun accuracy is great. Magazine is junk. Savage very happy to send new ones but they are the same. You can make them work with a lot of tinkering

I put a scope on this rifle and put about 100 rounds through it with no problems. The size and weight is awesome. Love shooting this rifle. Just wish I could get a larger capacity mag for it. Spend more time loading than shooting. Other than that it is fun to shoot.

The Savage 17 HMR is a great rifle use it at the ranch for a little hog control dead on at 100 yards

So the savage 17 hmr this is probably one of my favorite rifles really a tac driver and alot of fun to shoot I am definitely a big fan of this savage 17hmr and will get a 22mag as well I ordered a Boyd's varmint stock and she is awsome

This is an Awesome little gun, Put a Bushnell 4x16 scope on it and you can shoot 12 oz coke cans at 200 yards all day long. 300 yards get a little more difficult due to the light bullet and wind, but can be done.Overall i love this little gun and it makes a great squirrel/small game gun..Buds is A+ as usual..
