This 12 gauge, SXP Buck/Bird pump action combo has a composite matte black stock with an Inflex Technology recoil pad with a hard heel insert for snag-free mounting. It has a matte black aluminum alloy receiver and hard chrome-plated 3" chamber and bore. The vent rib field barrel has a brass bead front sight and three Invector-Plus choke tubes (F,M,IC). The 22" fully rifled deer barrel comes with TruGlo sights. The matte black chrome finish on both back-bored barrels is better than conventional bluing, with parts that are easier to clean and stay cleaner, standing up to years of wear. The Super X design provides the fastest follow-up shots with an inertia-assisted slide-action that can deliver three shots in a half second.

My first 12 gauge. This combo just scratched a bad itch I had. Not only did I get a fantastic 28inch barrel, but I also got a 22inch rifled barrel that is awesome at shooting slugs. My two complaints are 1) the magazine spring. The first time I tried to remove the dowel that limits the capacity to 3 it just flew out of the tube. I read the manual before trying and even the manual states to watch out, but I still wasn't ready for it. 2) I've had issues extracting heavy game shells with this shotgun, which is always unnerving when you have to clear the obstruction on the range. Maybe its the ammo, maybe its the shotgun, but same ammo works fine in my Mossberg 935, so who knows...
Its a good shotgun and it covers a range of ammo that the Mossberg won't shoot so it has a place in my armory for sure.

I purchased this shotgun for hunting season. Almost every store in New Jersey was sold out of combo shotguns, so I started looking on Buds.
