This shotgun is amazing! It feels really good in my arms and has a nice recoil pad. The sights and trigger are great; my brother and I were exploding clays with the XX-Full choke and I plan on getting an improved cylinder choke soon. I'm not a hunter so I can't touch base on that aspect of it but for recreation I couldn't think of a better/more affordable shotgun. First time out it performed flawlessly through about 90 rounds. I'm giving this shotgun 4 out of 5 stars for only one reason; the fact that it says Mossy Oak Turkey Thugs on the receiver. First off I guess Mossy Oak is a company name but the gun is black. Also THUG is supposed to stand for Today's Hunters United for Good which sounds cool in theory but usually I have to explain to everyone that THUG doesn't have a negative connotation. I think I'm just going to cover that part up with black tape or something. However, all in all this 500 is great. I got it because of the sights, trigger and feel of it and I am definitely not disappointed!
