It's not my problem anymore, i gladly gave it to my gun buddy who likes working on Junk! The barrel touched the left one side of stock channel with a quarter inch gap on right. The factory scope bases were so uneven i could see the difference between the two with my naked eye. I couldn't get a scope mounted level, let alone straight. I removed the stock per the owners manual and ended up breaking several plastic tabs, now the mag wont stay in. Ya get what you pay for; and I own several Savage 12's that are absolutely awesome, so is Buds!

this little rifle is fun to shoot and accurate. the only problems i have had are the bolt lock up is quite stiff and the magazine loading is not intuitive. as it is a brand new weapon both may improve over time.

I purchased Savage B 17 WSM through layaway program, had it easily paid for within 90 days. Upon final payment I was told via email I would be emailed again when product was shipped. Within a day I received email saying order shipped, FFL dealer received order within 3 days, FFL dealer contacted me and I picked up order, pleased to see gun in good order. Very happy with Buds gun shop, hope to do more business in the future, my first gun purchased on line, wouldn't hesitate to purchase more, thanks Buds gun shop!!

One of the worst rifles i've owned. 4-6 MOA, too inaccurate to hunt with. Sold it immediately.

not impressed with the rifle: do not like the cocking mechanism for reloading on the down stroke versus the cocking of gun during ejection of fired round, hard and difficult. not quick for follow up shots. follow up shots if the magazine which is cheaply manufactured, (totally disappointed with Savage) functions properly. spring mechanism within magazine in not strong enough and comes loose, thus no rotation and no reloading. couldn't follow up to finish a coyote due to malfunction a few days ago. Ballistics for this rim fire are out of this world, but Savage didn't do the best they are capable of on the manufacturing. POOR QUALITY. DISAPPOINTED to say the least. I would wait longer to purchase this rifle and only after SAVAGE ups it's quality.

I bought this gun am well it is a well made gun in my opinion . ammo is hard to find at this point, I found some at bass pro .

Decent for the price, for the most part functions well. Only about 75 rounds through it so far, magazine doesn`t feed well all the time and only 2 MOA so far. Imagine these will get better with use. Overall a nice varmint rifle, would buy again.
