2nd BGS purchase. My rifle arrived in one piece and is quite a nice looking gun. So far I have only fired a few rounds out of it to zero my optics but that was cut short due to rain. Overall I am happy with Buds and very happy with my rifle, If you are unsure about ordering from buds,don't be. Order with confidence. This seems like a rather versatile rifle, the ability to accept M14/M1A/AR10 magazines probably tops the versatility list. It is small enough to be a truck gun and the 7.62/.308 is adequate for just about any game you can find in North America (with the exception of the big bears). The rifle is a bit on the heavy side, this may be due partially to my inclination to put goodies on my guns (bi-pods, cheek rests, coffee makers etc.) and its not as bad as some "sniper" builds I've seen/ handled. I haven't weighed it yet to give any concrete data but we'll still call it "on the heavy side" for a hunting rifle...that's still my intended purpose for it though and other owners may just think I need to go to the gym. The weight is the only gripe I could have about this rifle and it isn't really a gripe... more of a not so positive/ not really negative observation. Great rifle, I didn't have to do anything out of the box except clean it and lube/grease the lubey/greasy parts and it was good to go. Order with confidence

First Buds service was perfect and I will definitely make more purchases here. This gun is very good looking and a real pleasure to shoot. I installed a Leopold 3x9x40 scope and medium rings, bore sighted at 50 yds and first shot was dead center at 50 yds. minor adjustment at 100 yds and then centered .5" groups. Haven't gone longer than 100 yds but I am confident it will shoot well. overall a great gun at a great price!!
