great deal right out of the box, now i just need a vortex scope and an mtd chassis and my project will be complete! thank you Buds for making this easy!

First impressions when I got the gun: loved the stock, , finish was flawless, liked the weight of the gun, nice butt pad on it. Trigger feels nice and crisp to me, bolt cycled well. The magazine compatibility is a great bonus. Add ons: Added a FSI 6-24 sniper scope. Cheaper model, but nice features and lots of positive reviews. Also grabbed an lr308 steel magazine. Range Session: Bought 120 rounds of various full metal/soft point rounds, all the cheapest I could find. Rough boresite looking through the barrel. Shooting was a pleasure. Really like the trigger, haven't adjusted it at all. The recoil was minimal on this heavy gun. I was able to shoot some very accurate groups even with cheaper ammo. Next I need to get on a range over 100 yards. The one Negative: I'm not totally impressed with cycling rounds. Doesn't seem that smooth to me, bullets sometime snub on the feed ramp. Have to work the bolt hard sometimes, even couple load attempts at times. Not sure if that will get better with a little more shooting time. I'm not an expert on bolt guns, so maybe that isn't that abnormal. Need to get more ammo and have another bolt gun shooter come to the range with me. This is the only reason for 4 stars, everythign else about the gun I love and would give 5 stars. I think Mossberg really did an awesome job with this gun. Price compared to features is very impressive. Was going to get the Ruger gunsite, this weapon has far better value in my opinion.

Received this rifle very quickly and as described. Well worth the "make offer" option..... try it, you won't be sorry. This is a beautiful rifle and feels great in the hands. Still need to lube up the bolt and feed assembly and mount my scope and zero it in, but I looked over this rifle but to barrel, and found no issues. I'll update once I have 100 rounds thru it.buds is great and already made another purchase from them!
