Para Ordnance Elite Officer 7+1 45ACP 3.5" - Blue/Black, 3.5" Barrel, 7+1 Rounds, Wood Grips, Night Sights

Just picked up my Para Elite Officer today at my FFL and it is very smooth and deadly accurate. Cleaned it up and shot 65 rds through it and only had 1 issue and I chalk it up to the new mags. Other than that, perfect shooting. After break in, it will become my EDC. Bud's is great to work with and fast shipping. This was my first experience with Bud's but won't be my last.

2/16/14 first chance to get to range with new gun. As usual Bud's was great, not a single problem with ordering or shipping, I purchased two other guns from Buds and everything has always gone smoothly. Now on to the gun. Well, I can't say enough about it. Great fit and finish, not sure about the fiber optic front sight yet, but that's just a personal thing. Full length guide rod and flat coil spring, makes for a bit of a challenge during strip down for cleaning. The enclosed manual is printed for a standard 5" 1911 and says nothing in regards to stripping down the officers model. As to functioning, it ran flawless!! not a single FTE or FTF in 200 rounds of mixed 230gr. ball and 3 various brands of self defense hollow point ammo. Even mixed different ammos together in a mag. and nothing nada zip in the way of even one hiccup. Accuracy was good at the 25-30' range and I'm sure someone with better eyes than I have, would have shot lights out with it. ( I wear Tri-Focals ) It comes with nicely checkered Goncalo grips (double diamond style) grips are the thin line variety with short screws and bushings. Extended thumb safety has a nice positive audible click when you snick it on and off. Came with 2 seven rd. plain base mags. in a nice lockable hard plastic case. Can't say enough about this gun, excellent in every way. Very very pleased with Buds and Para., money was well spent. It is now definitely my new carry piece.
