MetroArms MAC 3011 SSD 14+1 45ACP 5" - Blue/Black, 5" Barrel, 14+1 Rounds, Metal Grips, 3-Dot Sights

This is one of the best firearms I've ever owned. It easily ranks up there with my Wilson Combats and STIs, The gun is so good for the price, I bought two.

After about 200 rounds including ball, jacketed, jhp, & flat nosed ammo, I am ready to write a glowing review on a very precision and tightly fitted weapon. The gun is rock solid, beautifully finished, and the molded aluminum grips felt a lot better than I thought. Did not like the 2-tone look at first, but now it has really grown on me. The recoil is manageable because this gun is heavy! The match grade bull ramp barrel easily fed everything I put in it and I like the feel of the added magwell in my hand, but the magwell presented 2 drawbacks: 1) the longer grip length means you have to push the magazine in with more force in order to get a secure lock, and 2) since it only comes with one magazine, with a fitted bumper pad that sticks out slightly, you should probably buy additional mags from MAC, currently at $25 a piece, because thus far I have only found that MAC double-stack mags work (tried Para, Springfield, RIA, MecGar, ProMag, and NONE would fit and come out easily) with this model. Aside from that, at this price it has everything that I would probably add later, except night sights, but is included out of the box! An incredible well made and hand-fitted piece of craftsmanship from the Philippines!
