Browning Buckmark 22 Field Super 5.5" RSW - 5.5" Barrel, 10+1 Rounds

The Buckmark 22 Field Super has become my favorite 22 pistol to shoot. It's accurate and reliable. When using a suppressor it has noticably less blow back in your face than my S&W Victory 22 pistol, which has also had a lot of reliability issues. The Buckmark feels good in my hand and looks really sharp. And of course, BudsGunShop got it here quickly.

I have always had a high regard for Browning firearms having owned many in the past and have a couple at present; however, this Buckmark has been a disappointment and the Browning service department is a joke. When I received the pistol it had severe ejection and feed problems. Sometimes I had to use a cleaning rod to push fired cases out of the barrel they were stuck so tightly. I took the gun to an authorized Browning repair shop and the smith agreed with my assessment that the chamber was rough; indeed it had visible gouges in it. He polished the chamber ($35) and that helped a lot, but the problem still existed just not as bad. I then sent the pistol to Browning service center and requested a new barrel. Browning service center came back with a quote to replace the sear spring and the firing pin housing ($131.38). I ask the rep how this addressed the ejection problem and essentially got a bunch of BS. I requested that they just send the pistol back to me ($50). Needless to say it will be a very long time before I buy another Browning.

There's a reason Bud's is concerned with getting just a 'product review' and not an overall review of making a purchase from Bud's.

Purchased two 22 LR guns and this is number two. Gun itself shoots like all Buckmarks, very accurate. I like the longer sight radius and the grips are very comfortable. So far the gun has been flawless and will be going on the woods after squirrels very soon. Buds did an outstanding job with this order, just referred a friend to them this morning. Will be making future purchases from this website.

Beautiful gun. A real pleasure to shoot. No malfunctions using 3 different 22 lr ammo. I used Buds price matching and saved. I recommend Browning Buckmark and Buds, can't beat either one.
