The LAR-15 CAR A4 features forged aluminum receivers with a flat top optic-ready upper to give you the strength and durability that you expect in a modern sporting rifle. It comes with a mid-length drop-in handguard, an RRA Tactical CAR buttstock and an RRA overmolded pistol grip to give you the perfect fit and great control. Chambered in 5.56 NATO, it also accepts .223 Remington. This rifle comes complete with an A2 front sight, and with the railed upper, you can attach your choice of folding rear sight, optic, or a combination of the two. This optics ready multi-purpose rifle has Rock River's excellent two stage trigger, a 16" chrome moly barrel with a 1:9 twist and an A2 flash hider. This is my first ar and I am glad I chose this one. I have been looking for about six months at numerous brands and decided on the lar15 mid. Took it out and put about 100 rounds through in no failure to feed or fire. Had it sighted in in about 15 rounds. Fit and finish are superb. A friend has a Daniel defense that cost about $500 more shooting the two I don't know why. You won't be sorry if you choose this rifle.
