We bought this gun for my daughter 3 years ago when she was 11. At first it wasn't cycling very well. A buddy told me to tear it down and clean every part possible, I did that and it hasn't jambed since. She has shot multiple Pheasants,3 Turkeys and 2 Ducks with this gun. She is on a home school trap shooting team that competes on a national level were she was 2nd place last year and 1st place this year for the womens overall average. We have offered to get her a 12 guage but she does not want to shoot anything else but her Tri-Star Viper Semi auto .28 Guage. On opening day of Turkey this year she got her Turkey on Saturday , then we went to our friends house to try and get my 9 year old her first Turkey, she has a .410 Tri-Star synthetic that Dad (me) forgot to pack her ammo,she had to shoot her sisters Tri-Star Viper Semi Auto .28 guage and got her 1st Turkey. I did not bring my gun, thinking I would not get a chance to shoot, another Turkey came in a few minutes later and I took the Tri-Star Viper Semi Auto .28 guage and was able to bag another Turkey. I am very impressed with this gun. Once we got passed the jambing,I can't say enough good thing about it. I am going to buy a 12 guage for myself to add to our collection of Tri-Star guns. I would reccomend this gun for a young first time shooter and to any one that just wants to have a fun gun to shoot. Thank you Tri -Star and Bud's gun shop for giving my family so much fun.

Very nice shotgun, I have the Tristar viper g2 in 410 and like it so much I had to get the 28gauge.These shotguns are light and have shot any shells I have tried.They also point very well after shimmed to fit the shooter.I really like the Tristar guns I also have one of there c-100 pistols in 9mm and it has been flawless.Buds did a fantastic job as always!
