Sig Sauer MPX PPC LE 9mm Semi-Auto Rifle - 16" Barrel, 30 Rounds, Synthetic, Black Stock

The gas system the MPX has supposedly makes it among the softest shooting carbines out there. Honestly,9mm is so soft out of almost any carbine I've ever fired so that's negligible. The MPX looks cool,shoots great and I'll be attaching a red dot soon. I'm very happy with the MPX.

The order process was brief and easy. Delivery was as stated. The rifle was as expected from Sig. I have put 500 rounds through it and it functioned perfectly. It is easy to dismantle for cleaning and I am very pleased with the rifle. The only item I would change or replace is the butt stock. I could another inch or two. If Sig or anyone else sells an extended stock please let me know.

I took a chance on this rifle as it was listed at a good price. My plan was to mod it up the way I want anyway, so why pay for the premium versions. The picture is a generic one. The rifle I received came with fold up sights, an A2 flash hider, and the standard mil-spec trigger. Everything else is as pictured. The sights are usable, but the hand guard that has the front sight mounted to it does have a bit of play side to side, so not sure how much this would play with accuracy. This doesn't bother me as I'm swapping the hand guard anyway and will be using and optic. The trigger is pretty smooth for an mil-spec type, just heavy on the pull. Again, I could really care less, it's getting replaced. The stock is as pictured. Looking at pics of it, I had my doubts, but it is very stable and functional. I may end up keeping it on. The action was kinda rough at first. But after the first couple hundred rounds, it has really smoothed out. Scoping the barrel shows a very good looking bore with a good crown and chamber to bore alignment look good. For those that are interested, the muzzle is threaded 13.5x1 LH and uses sigs 30 degree taper. The rifle functions with and without my suppressor mounted, but the gassy claims that everyone talks about are true. This thing is pretty gassy with no suppressor mounted and it only gets worse form there. I've not had any malfunctions yet and am pleased with the purchase. I really think sig is over charging for what it is. But it's one of the very few locked breech PCC's out there, so it is what it is.
