DW specialist SS full size is beautiful and at the range it went flawless. What else can I said about DW 1911s they make the best production 1911s and this is my 4th DW and also have colt ruger and SA but no comparison to DW. As for buds I order a lot from buds and always great and fast but this time buds took 8 days to ship my DW specialist and don’t know why

I can't believe this. I always wondered why someone would spend $1,500 on a pistol and now I'm a believer. I have owned Kimber and Sign, they just do not compare to Dan Wesson. The tight fit, the beautiful finish, this pistol exudes quality. My other 1911s have a high pitched "clink" sound when racking the slide. This Dan Wesson has a really deep "cachunk" and is very satisfying, like it is one solid piece of metal. Buds shipped this firearm the very next day. Will probably be buying my guns online from now on.
