Kahr Arms CW9 9MM BLK/BLK 3.5" 7+1 - 3.5" Barrel, 7+1 Rounds

Best of both worlds (pretty much). I have owned a few of micro-Kahrs over the years, and still do. This time I thought I would jump into something that had a little better grip; get all three fingers on it. This pistol isn't micro but it's small and thin. It isn't full size, double stack but it fills the hand better than other concealed carry options. I personally love the feel of the long 'double action' trigger. Color: also really dig the total blackout on this one. Negatives: magazine and Kahr customer service. Right out of the box I was having trouble getting the slide to lock back on an empty magazine- both shooting and just racking it. I ordered new mags and the problem cleared up. I am ordering metal magazine followers for mine but obviously it's probably not necessary, since 3 out of 4 work perfectly. Love the gun. Nice and solid.

Impressive gun to shoot. Like all of my Kahr pistols, the trigger on this CW9 is crisp and breaks cleanly and consistently. The pistol is accurate and comfortable to shoot. It is thin enough to carry as a concealed firearm but lacks the capacity of double stack firearm. With an optional Kahr magazine it can carry 8 + 1 in the chamber.
As with most Kahr's, the recoil spring is tight and racking the slide takes deliberate action. At 200 rounds, Kahr considers the gun to be broken in.
