Glock 47 MOS 9mm Semi Auto Pistol - FDE/Tan, 4.49" Barrel, 17+1 Rounds, Polymer Grips

The Glock^® 47 is a full-sized pistol chambered in 9mm Luger that offers all the latest features of the Glock®17 MOS, including a full-length 4.49" barrel and slide sitting on the full-size frame of the Glock®19X and 45. "So what's the benefit here," you ask, "Why not just get a G17 MOS?" Think of the Glock®47 as a top-of-the-line G17 with a "super-power" that Glock® fans have wanted for a long time. The G47 enables you to have a pistol with a full-length slide on a compact G19 frame. The G47 slide uses the shorter G19 guide rod / recoil spring assembly and fits G19-size frame rails, so you can swap your G47 slide onto your G19's frame.

The resulting "long-slide" G19 gives you the better ballistics and accuracy benefits of a longer barrel and longer sight radius, while the more compact frame makes the Glock®47 a much more daily carry friendly pistol. It's a godsend for folks who want to carry a full-size 9mm pistol, but really hate that full-size grip frame digging into their anatomy all day and making it more difficult to prevent the gun from "printing" through clothing.

As a bonus, you can also mount a Glock®19 slide on the G47 frame and get yourself a G45 - full-size frame, hence 17-round mag capacity, with a shorter slide.

On its own, the G47 offers plenty of up-to-date Glock®goodness, including extra-deep front and rear cocking serrations, Glock's MOS red dot mount, Marksman barrel (tighter chamber, more aggressive rifling, and target muzzle crown for better accuracy), interchangeable Medium and Large backstrap inserts, light / laser / accessory mounting rail, flared magazine well, ambi slide release lever, nDLC coating on the slide, 17-round magazine capacity, and all the ergonomic enhancements of a Gen5 pistol.
