Ruger 10/22 USA Shooting Team 2024 TALO Exclusive .22 LR 18" 10+1 - 18" Barrel, 10+1 Rounds

I got this rifle for my granddaughter, it is outstanding! First it is very accurate. 2nd it works great, as expected of a 10/22. 3rd it has a compensator on the threaded barrel that is not expained even on the Ruger web site.

Wanted an unusual automatic .22 and got it. It got called the "Spiderman" rifle because of the color scheme. I have several .22s, a couple of them automatics, but wanted a target type rifle in automatic. While I haven't been able to put a lot of ammo through it (only a couple hundred rounds), I have yet to have a misfire. Accuracy is about as expected (excellent, still looking for the best brand of ammo), trigger pull is excellent, and balance is better than expected. The only downside is that the 25 round clip I ordered from Bud's would not fit it. Also, the 15 round clip that came with my Ruger Precision would not fit it. The 25 round I bought for my Precision does fit this rifle and vice versa, so I have working clips for both rifles. Since I have all Ruger brand magazines I don't understand why this is. This is a Ruger 10/22 so everything should fit; but it just doesn't. They do all fit the Ruger Precision. Would I buy this again? Definitely. While I don't think an automatic will be as accurate as a bolt action, it is a lot of fun to shoot, and I am looking forward to doing just that. I hope I get proved wrong about the accuracy. David J
