Chiappa Rhino 60DS Black Anodized 357 Magnum Revolver - Blue/Black, 6" Barrel, 6 Rounds, Wood Grips

For a wheelgun, the Rhino 60DS is way more than its design. It might look heavy at first glance but it's light and comfortable to grip and shoot. Not to mention, it fires powerful 357 Magnum bullets to penetrate targets on sight. One of my favorite guns to shoot at the range.

Always wanted on of these, but could never afford one until recently. It takes some getting used to (firing from the six o'clock cylinder) but it shoots flat especially with high powered .357MAG. Makes recoil manageable as advertised. Yes the gun is a little "Hollywood," but not all firearms have to be utilitarian. Shooting it is enjoyable and I am able to hit what I aim at.

I was skeptical about whether the price was worth it for the Rhino, but after the first day at the range I was sure I did the right thing. I was key-holing the target straight out of the box with no adjustments. It's light, ergonomic, accurate, and fun. Nothing else to ask for. I'm now thinking how lucky I was to pull the trigger when one came available.

Bought this as my first gun and wasn't disappointed. I've fired 350 rounds of .38 special and 50 rounds of .357 magnum. As expected, the Rhino's recoil relatively easy to control, although the .357mag can still wear out your wrist just from the straight-back force if you're a novice like me. I've had some fairly good groupings so far. No doubt the accuracy will improve with practice. Haven't tried it beyond 30 feet, though. The adjustable iron sights are a nice feature. Double-action trigger pull is a little heavy. I've considered getting a trigger upgrade from Chiappa to reduce the double-action trigger weight, but I'm holding off for now. The single-action lever is a little stiff (can't cock it without adjusting your grip unless you have giant hands), but the trigger pull is very light. The gun looks great in the pictures, and it looks even better in person. My only complaint is that there's a faint vertical weld line about 1/3rd of the way down the barrel (where the top rail starts). If you don't wipe it thoroughly, your cleaning oil will make that line more visible. Overall, this is a fantastic gun, and definitely worth the buy. Even if you don't care about the design, it's accurate and easy to control.

Bought this Rhino in 38 Special / .357mag. Buds had the best pricing hands down. This weapon is well balanced and shoots dead on. The physical looks of the weapon gets lots of attention. I have purchased several weapons from Buds and their service has always been great. Never disappointed.

Very unique gun. Rare in this barrel length. Beautiful gun with walnut grips. This thing is from the future and will look cutting edge for decades. Gun had minor nicks on the trigger guard from being locked during shipping. Barrel had copper fouling from factory proof testing. Frame is aluminum alloy of some sort. Barrel frame is a different color of black. It is like anodized aluminum, while the rest of the frame is more like a baked on coating. Fired about 200 rounds so far. Very accurate. Smooth trigger and double action. Less muzzle flip with .357 magnum than with a 9mm Barretta. Blast marks on the bottom of the frame by the breach will not come clean. Not a big deal. I am extremely pleased with the gun and waited a long time to own it.
