Oh yes, I enjoy shooting/hunting with this CVA Scout pistol in 6.5 Creedmoor It is made with Stainless Steel and made right, very accurate, drilled and tapped for scope mounting. Recoil is very tolerable. I want to have another in different caliber likely a 35 legend. You will be satisfied if you get one just like me.

CVA makes a great product this pistol shoots sub moa with 90 grain varmagedons. It is a handful but what else would you expect!

Hands down the best single shot pistol for the money. Great trigger, and capable of fantastic groups. Mine shoots sub 1.5 MOA at 200 with inexpensive factory ammo. Can't wait to see what it will do with proper handloads. Think I may need another, 350 legend, perhaps.

Love this CVA Scout V2 Pistol. Got it at a great price from Bud's. This little pistol that shoots rifle rounds is a head turner. It packs a punch at an affordable price. CVA does not advertise these pistols in various calibers. This will suck the air out of the room at my local indoor Gun Range. I would recommend this CVA Scout if you like Big Caliber Pistols.. I love the CVA products so much , I ordered and received the 45-70 govt rifle...

The purchase experience was very good as always with BG. It took about week to get the pistol into my FFL however it worked out well as i was on cruise anyway. The pistol was well packaged from CVA with foam inserts preventing the pistol from moving inside the box; included was trigger lock, allen key, sling scews and the pistol without any damage. The trigger is very smooth and about 2 pound pull and breaks crisp. The pistol feels very well built and is heavy which helps cancels the kick from 6.5 Creedmoor. The accuracy at the range @50 yards was sub MOA using Sellier&Bellot 140grs soft point and 1 MOA @ 100 yards; all from bench bag. Seems to be a capable hunting pistol which i'm confident can do the job out to 100 yards ethically. The pistol has a very attractive matte stainless steel finish, i'm very impressed at the welding job done by the manufacturer on the barrel/breach to pivot assembly. The barrel is fluted and fitted with screwed barrel / protector; the screw protector did not want to come off and required heating the ring in order to be removed. The ring was held by some white loctite like product to prevent from slipping off. A muzzle brake will be added in the near future to better manage the barrel rise and enhance the control. I'm very satisfied with the purchase and overall performance thus far.
