The Uberti Cattleman II with retractable firing pin is a breakthrough for those seeking enhanced safety with regard to original Old West revolvers without sacrificing the visual authenticity of a 1st-generation Colt.

As any cowboy knows, the safest way to carry a single-action is with the hammer resting on an unloaded chamber. This is true even for the Uberti retractable firing pin design. But in the case of the Uberti design, the risk of accidental discharge is reduced: the firing pin is not locked into the firing position unless the trigger is pulled.

This enhanced safety feature is available without a visible transfer bar safety, which those who insist on visual authenticity might not want. In other words, from the outside this revolver’s looks and operation are identical to those of an original.

The service was great, the gun showed up in 3 working days and it was in mint condition everything worked fine. I as of yet have not fired it being as it took me a while to finally find some ammo which after ordering a week ago from some where else did show ystrdy now I have to wait for the weather to warm up a bit 0 degrees is a bit cold to go shooting but I am happy with the gun up to this point in fact I just ordered a 1872 open top 7 1/2" barrel 45 colt and can't wait to get it.

Thank you Buds for presenting this beautiful well built pistol for sale and for supporting Hickok 45. I watched the review on Hickok so I know it is a great shooting colt clone. Much cheaper than trying to buy a colt but it feels like a colt and shoots like one. You can't go wrong with this model.

this is my 2nd Uberti cattleman 11 and it's as nice as the first one I ordered a 2nd one in 4.75 both my revolvers shoot extremely well and are some of my most accurate revolvers I have 2 pair of ruger vaqueros and love them but dont seam to shoot them as well as these I just hardly miss with these pistols and I really love that when that happens great value here happy customer here great service from buds per the norm

As allways Buds purchase was fantastic. As for the Guns, I am so imressed with the look and feel of these guns it's hard to describe, I shoot sass, the balance is fantastic and I couldn't believe the trigger pull (3.25 Lps).WOW I saved money on a spring job. went to the range today and the sights are dead on. Thanks again Buds.
