The Uberti CMS 12-Shot .22 lr Trainer is perfect for those who are serious in the art of Cowboy Mounted Shooting or for those interested in a classic looking .22 plinking pistol. This scaled-down version of the well-renowned Single Action Army has the same look and feel of the centerfire version, and is equipped with a 12 shot cylinder. This model is also compatible with .22 blanks commonly used in nail guns; this feature is great for training a horse to become accustom to the sound of shots without the animal being able to count or predict them.

Uberti's guns are nicely made, and the Short Stroke KL CMS Pro is just as well made as the other Uberti guns I own. But this gun does NOT have short-stroke action. It does come with a low-angle hammer, and it's chambered for 12 rounds of 22LR. But it does not have short-stroke action. Because it's a 22, the main spring is heavy, and cocking this is easier using a two-handed grip and cocking with your weak hand. I may see about having a gunsmith install short-stroke action. I don't know yet. But the main thing is that the listing is wrong: The Uberti KL CMS Pro 22LR does not have a short-stroke action.

a lot of money to pay for a revolver that failed to strike the 22 cal. rounds.since i was at a pay per hour range i had to discontinue finding problems.this after a disappointing shoot with my ruger 22 lite.i will contact uberti to get their comments.

Very high quality revolver and a pleasure to handle; the Uberti .22 is quite heavy and weighs as much as my Ruger super Blackhawk .357.

Sadly the Uberti Short Stroke KL CMS revolver was not a short stroke but required a full stroke that made it unacceptable. Good looking gun.

Just received my Uberti today,great looker,but this is definetly not a short stroke hammer —checkered grip—wide hammer ,wide sight grouve ,3.5 in barrel—very fine casehardned finish-but a little letdown because it was advertised as short stroke,but life goes on and it probably would not improve my shooting to have the short stroke since I am a long way from a pro—THANKS WARREN S

Cleaned the gun completely before taking it to range. Loaded it, fired what seemed like forever, before all 12 were down range. Very accurate. Everyone wanted to look at it and fire it. No malfunctions what so ever. Fired about 200 rds first day. Little more work to empty, but worth the trouble. I have other 22 cal pistols, but I think this one will be a favorite. Really a QUALITY built gun. As all Uberti weapons are. Would HIGHLY recommend this Uberti for fun and all around use, Wm Smith
