• Q: I noticed you guys have this same firearm (with a 10.5” barrel) available for layaway but not this one. What makes a firearm available for layaway, and will this one ever be available for layaway in the future? I would really love to get this through the layaway option in the future if possible.

  Hi Honzik and welcome. The receiver is Type III, Hardcoat anodized, is done under more exacting process conditions resulting in a harder, denser, thicker, and more abrasion resistant coating. The 4140 Chrome Moly Vanadium Barrel is Melonite/Nitride finished. Cheers and stay safe! Melonite is a specific version of Nitride but for the most part Melonite and Nitride are the same.

  Assault pistol means any of the following:
  a. A semiautomatic pistol that can accept a detachable magazine and has at least one (1)
  of the following:
  1. An ability to accept a detachable ammunition magazine that attaches at some
  location outside of the pisto grip.
  2. A threaded barrel capable of accepting a flash suppressor, forward pistol grip or
  silencer.
  3. A shroud that is attached to, or partially or completely encircles, the barrel and
  that permits the shooter to fire the firearm without being burned, except a slide
  that encloses the barrel.
  4. A second hand grip.

• Q: I'm new to the Maryland HANDGUN Roster thing. Looking at the website, (https://licensingportal.mdsp.maryland.gov/MSPBridgeClient/#/home), I see listed as approved, Radical Firearms RF-15 pistols for 223 Rem, 300 BLK, 5.56 NATO, and 7.62X39mm. Others have said this AR pistol is not approved in Maryland. What am I missing? Thanks.

  William, you are not missing a thing, you are correct. This gun does appear on the handgun roster. Not sure how we missed that on the other question, thanks for bringing that to our attention.
