  YES, it has an 3-inch chamber and will take 3 inch or any shorter shells with no issue. Try to avoid the mini shell, however. I hope this helps

• Q: Is this weapon compliant in NYS? I believe a 5 round clip is fine, but not sure if this is considered a pistol grip? Also, I’m a lefty, never lost an eyeball using an M14 (many moons ago) and I don’t think there should be a problem with this one. Not sure why they even sell left handed rifles. Thanks = Tim

  Charlie, NOT CA compliant. Too many standard but CA restricted features. Look at some pump shotguns. They do not fall under the same restrictive CA scrutiny that semi auto shotguns do.
