Extremely happy with the transaction itself as always, dealing with Buds is efficient and straightforward. I’m happy with the product itself, excellent quality finish, I believe definitely worth the price paid, the only negative remark about this product is that I noticed that if you rack the slide softly the gun jams and fails to load the first round, the slide has to racked at full power pretty much and it will never jam, I don’t precisely know if this is a manufacturer’s issue or simply the way the gun is designed to operate, I will research a bit more into this and try to figure it out.

First of all the service here at Bud's Gun Shop was great. I received my pistol promptly and all was well. Second, the Kimber Aegis Elite Ultra 45acp is a wonderful firearm in fit and finish. Also a joy to shoot. I've had only one opportunity to get out and fire the pistol and fired 200 rounds with no failures to eject but 4 failures to feed. Now the feed failures were all the same. The slide would lock open on the 6th round as if the magazine were empty. However a quick pull on the slide would feed the last round and function correctly. After some research I found this to be a problem with the magazines and not the pistol itself. With a little work on the magazines the firearm should function flawlessly. Having said that, a quality company like Kimber should fix this simple problem, hence the 4 rating.
