Thompson/Center Arms 10076 Compass Composite Bolt 7mm Remington Magnum 22" 4+1 Synthetic Bl - 24" Barrel, 4+1 Rounds

Thus far, the rifle is great. I've added a compensator to the threaded barrel to help keep barrel kick controlled although it made it a little louder. I also replaced the factory stock with a Boyd's Thumbhole featherweight stock in Royal Camo color with a Limbsaver recoil pad and added a Realtree leather sling. I mounted a 6-24 x 44 KonusPro Mil-dot scope on Warne Medium Height steel rings. Has about 1/4" clear below the AO ring, so a good fit and they seem very solid with the included mounts. Trigger is still a tad heavy, but I don't have the right wrenches to modify the weight adjustment. Once I get those, I'll probably be dropping the pull weight down a bit. With all the modifications, I have about $650 into it and it's a very nice rifle for that amount. I really think the Boyd's stock is a must have. You could go cheaper and not get the Limbsaver Recoil pad, but it's nice when you are shooting in warmer weather in thin shirts. I won't be able to test the long range capabilities until after deer season at least, but hope to zero it at 300 yards. Currently, I zero'd the rifle 4.5" high at 100 yards, which with my loads should make this point blank range to 600. Bottom Mil-Dot range should be right around the 1000 yard mark. Will try to comment back once I get the trigger lightened and see what it will do for accuracy.

I purchased a t/c compass in 7mm rem mag and it is a great rifle for the price ! An to top it off the t/c rebate of 75 dollars made it a steal I would definitely recommend this rifle to anyone ! Also ordering from buds was a great experience I was skeptical to order anything off line this was my first online purchase ever I can only pray other companies operate like this thank u buds an to Thompson center arms for a great rifle at a tremendous value

great rifle! Fit and finish was good and rifle is accurate. Inch 5 shot groups with first load I tried. 61 grains of imr4831 and 162 amax. Only complaint is the trigger would only adjust down too 5.5 lbs so I did a little work on it got it too 3lbs. Buds shipped fast as always
