About every 3-5 shots both barrels fire at the same time. I called in and the repair dept told me that if the gun is not held tight against the shoulder it will bump fire. That the .410 and 28 gauge are notorious for that due to design of trigger. If I new that I would have never purchased the gun.I assure you I'm holding it tight against my shoulder. So now dealing with service department, to return for repair. Gun looks good & feels good just mechanical problems. If I could do it over, I'd spend extra money and buy a Silver Pigeon

THE REDHEAD, ESPECIALLY FOR THE PRICE, IS A VERY WELL MADE AND VERY WELL BALANCED SHOTGUN. IT IS SPOT ON RIGTH OUT OF THE BOX. I GIVE IT A RATING OF 5 STARS WITHOUT RESERVATION.

As a skeet shooter I wanted a 28 gauge for hunting so I didn’t have to take my good shotguns in the field. I had searched around looking for a reliable 28 gauge that wouldn’t break the bank. I looked at several makes and models and decided on the CZ Readhead. Bud’s has the best price and ordering was easy and trouble free. It arrived to my FFL dealer in a week or so and I took it out to the range to shoot a round of skeet. The trigger is a little different than what I’m used to, but I shot 23 out of 25 with it right out of the box with factory loads. I did notice a little Metallic ping sound when fired. I don’t know if that’s normal for this gun or not. Will have to run a few more rounds through it before I can have a good opinion about it.
