You’re looking at the third generation of Keltec's semi-automatic carbine that folds in half, optics and all. Initially in 9mm, the SUB2000 GEN3 picks up where handguns leave off. Folded, it tucks away nicely in situations where space is limited, but it’s quick to deploy in situations where time is of the essence.The semi-automatic SUB2000 is designed to be the most convenient 9mm caliber carbine available. It folds completely in half for easy storage and can accept G19/G17 handgun magazines. Plus, it can easily be disassembled for cleaning or inspection without tools. Ideal for backpacking trips and situations where space and convenience are paramount.

THE FOLD: the single twist-and-fold motion of the patent-pending rotating forend. Release the barrel assembly with a button, twist the forend in either direction and snap it into place. UPGRADED ACTION: The action of the SUB2000 now features a redesigned operating handle for added comfort, a lightened action for easy racking, and an ambidextrous bolt hold-open. All additions provide for improved weapons manipulation. ROTATING FOREND: The biggest update is the rotating forend that comes standard on every SUB2000 GEN3. Mounted optics and accessories now easily rotate out of the way for folding. Getting back in action is easy with a simple, singlehanded maneuver that maintains a seamless, quick deployment. No need for additional accessories. CHAMBER INDICATOR: While not a replacement for standard firearm safety practices, a new chamber indicator has been added to the SUB2000 GEN3 to further assist the user in operating the firearm safely. This visual indicator is in the form of a peephole on the top of the firearm above the chamber. When a round is chambered, the brass is visible through this peephole. TRIGGER: The GEN3 has a new aluminum trigger and redesigned trigger mechanics making for a lightened, 5 lb trigger pull. This updated trigger provides the user with more precise feedback for a clean, isolated trigger pull, translating into increased accuracy and follow-up shots.
