Wanted something to test subsonic loads and for using silencing. Went through a break in period of 20 rounds of super sonic. The 16" barrel length is very short on this model. In fact, The range officers at my club wanted to know if it was an SBR. Breach loading, break barrel guns are just that short. Once done with the break in, moved onto my handloads, 220 gr berrys. The 16 inch pushed some right to the brink of super sonic where on my 7 inch AR, they are 950-1000 FPS. Regardless, was fun, accurate and stupid quite. Love it.

My CVA Scout is very nice. I received it fast and with no problems. I have not shot it , but fit and finish is perfect. I'm looking forward to taking it to the range.

So, you want a lightweight, rugged, accurate, compact hunting rifle? Look no further! This is a phenomenal, handy rifle. It has an awesome trigger and a really accurate barrel. This rifle gets really tight groups. Part of that is the tight lock-up in the action, and part of that is the trigger. Super crisp. It has a 5/8x24 threaded barrel, so if you want to mount an AR-10 type muzzle accessory, you can do that. I absolutely love this rifle. CVA makes great products. Thanks, BudsGunShop.

Very well made, light weight gun. The action is very tight. Especially when trying to open it. I hope that smooths out with use. Times are changing. I never thought that I would pay that much for a single shot.

this turned out to be a good rifle to get,, shot it , its accurate ,,easy to load and built very well,, great quality,,,not junk,,,,,made to use and made to last,, the 300 blackout supprised me,,,,,more power and range than i thought it would be,,,,,the take down is great for putting in your pack,,,,,buy this gun,,,,,,,its worth it,,,,
